Field Support Representative

KTS provides comprehensive on-site Field Support Representative engagement at bases throughout CONUS, overseas, and on deployments supporting the Warfighter in any clime or place. KTS FSRs are subject matter experts who have an in-depth understanding of Department of Defense equipment and concepts of operation; they are adept at applying their expertise and knowledge to bridge operational gaps with KTS products.

Specific FSR Support Provided:

  • Support CONUS, detachment, and forward deployed training activities and operations
  • Sustain, troubleshoot, and repair standard voice, data, and video network infrastructure systems and cryptographic equipment
  • Complete hardware and accessory installation, software connectivity, technical issues, and equipment interconnectivity
  • Perform testing, repairing, removing, and replacing of parts
  • Install, test, maintain and upgrade operating system software and firmware for systems, subsystems, equipment, and components
  • Perform a wide variety of integrity testing and interview the customer to gather information about problems and future requirements
  • Recommend network schema and data nodes for operational employment
  • Provide advice and a wide variety of complex onsite training

KTS FSRs also coordinate efforts with engineering to validate developmental software loads and hardware, and to conduct tactical demonstrations and evaluations to rapidly develop new capabilities and inform future requirements.
