Before joining KTS in early 2014, Scott was responsible for advanced tactical datalink research at Northrop Grumman focused on air-to-air / air-to-ground network architectures, as well as open architecture sensor systems leading to multiple fielded capabilities for the AN/AAQ-28(V) LITENING targeting pod, as well as ground systems employing Android tablets. He also was responsible for systems engineering and development on multiple classified RF electronic countermeasure systems, focused on coherent processing architectures, as well as man-in-the-loop emulation of threat systems. Research interests include power aware computing and communications, system-on-chip systems, high performance embedded computing, ad-hoc networking and service aware architectures / protocols.

Scott earned a M.S.E.E from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is the recipient of the 2008 national AOC research and development award for accomplishments in the areas of air-to-ground communications, service oriented tactical airborne networking architectures and the first ever demonstration of air-to-ground H.264 tactical encrypted FMV with IP protocols.
